Questions to Ask Before Subscribing to a Tipster
A short list of pointed questions will expose most weak or dishonest tipsters before you pay a penny. Here's the checklist to run every time.
Before you hand over any money, a handful of direct questions will tell you almost everything you need to know. Honest tipsters answer them happily; evasive ones reveal themselves. Use this checklist every time you consider a new service — it distils the whole evaluation hub into a practical pre-purchase routine.
About the record
Ask: can I see every selection over a continuous period — winners and losers — at the prices you advised? How many bets is your record based on, and does it include losing runs? A tipster who can only show highlights is hiding the losers, per how to detect cherry-picked results.

About the prices you'll get
Ask how much notice you'll get before each bet, and whether the advised prices are still available when tips are sent. If tips land seconds before the off, or the price has gone by the time you bet, the record isn't yours to claim.
Find out which bookmakers or exchanges the prices are quoted from, so you can judge whether you can realistically match them.
About the money
Ask the full ongoing price (not just the intro offer), how to cancel, and whether it auto-renews. Then do your own net-return maths as in how much should you pay for betting tips?. Also ask whether the tipster earns affiliate commission from bookmakers — a potential conflict.
Vague or defensive answers on price and cancellation are a warning sign of a subscription scam.
About reputation
Finally, look beyond the tipster's own word: are there genuine, independent reviews? What's their Trust Score? Have other subscribers described honest communication during losing runs?
If a service dodges these questions or has no independent footprint, walk away. Run any candidate against independently reviewed tipsters before you subscribe.
