Responsible Gambling
Last updated: June 2026
18+ only. Gambling involves risk. Never bet more than you can afford to lose. Following a tipster does not guarantee a profit — past results are never a promise of future returns. When the fun stops, stop.
TipsterCheck is an independent review platform. We do not accept bets, sell tips or provide betting or financial advice. We exist to help you research tipsters before you subscribe — but no rating on this site should be read as a recommendation to gamble.
Keeping gambling safe
- Only ever gamble with money you can comfortably afford to lose.
- Set a budget and a time limit before you start — and stick to them.
- Never chase losses. Trying to win back money you've lost usually makes things worse.
- Don't gamble when you're upset, stressed or under the influence.
- Treat any staking or tipster results with healthy scepticism — see how we score tipsters.
Warning signs
Gambling may be becoming a problem if you are betting more than you can afford, chasing losses, hiding your betting from others, or feeling anxious about it. If any of this sounds familiar, help is available — for free and in confidence.
